A view is a perspective on a collection. Switching from List to Board to Table doesn't change the underlying notes, just how they're laid out.
The six view types

What carries across views
Every view in a collection sees the same notes. Each view has its own filters, sorts, and grouping, changing them in one view doesn't affect others. Property edits sync everywhere.
