Filters and sorts
Narrow down and reorder the notes a view shows.

Filters decide which notes are in a view. Sorts decide what order they appear in. Both are per-view.
Add a filter
- In the view toolbar, click Filter.
- Click + Add filter.
- Pick a property, pick a condition, set a value.
Multiple filters combine with AND by default. Switch the group combinator to OR from the filter header if you need it.
Remove or edit a filter
Open the filter panel, hover a row → × to remove, or click the condition/value to edit.
Add a sort
- Toolbar → Sort → + Add sort.
- Pick a property and direction.
Sorts are applied in order. The first sort is primary, the next break ties.
Clearing
- Filter panel → Clear all.
- Sort panel → Clear all.
Notes
- Sorted views disable manual reordering in List, Table, and Gallery.
- Filters never change the underlying notes — they hide, not delete.
