Properties overview
Structured fields attached to every note in a collection.

A property is a typed field on every note in a collection. Think of it as a column in a database. Views can filter, sort, group, and colour-code by a property.
Available types
| Type | Use for |
|---|---|
| Text | Short strings — project codes, snippets. |
| Number | Any numeric value — counts, budgets, estimates. |
| Select | One-of-many — statuses, priorities. |
| Multi-select | Many-of-many — tags, owners. |
| Date | A day or a moment in time. |
| Checkbox | Yes/no. |
| URL | Links that render as clickable chips. |
| Person | A workspace member. |
Adding a property
- Open the collection.
- Open the Properties panel from the view toolbar (or add a column in Table view).
- Click + Add property, pick a type, give it a name.
Properties apply to every note in the collection.
Removing a property
Open the property's settings → Delete. Existing values are permanently discarded.
